About the event
Discover Atlanta Through Our Eyes ✨
Tour the South's greatest city with a beauty queen! 👑 Join a passionate local to uncover Atlanta’s incredible history and gorgeous architecture. See the city we love, guided by the people who proudly call it home.
This is the essential Atlanta experience. Perfect for first-time visitors and locals alike, this tour takes you beyond the modern skyline to the historic neighborhoods, artistic enclaves, and sacred grounds that define our city's identity. From the Gilded Age to the 1996 Olympics, experience the stories that changed the world.
Tour Highlights:
Inman Park: Travel back to the late 19th century in Atlanta’s first planned suburb. Marvel at the stunning Victorian mansions, "Painted Ladies," and lush winding streets that survived the Civil War to become the city's most elegant neighborhood.
Cabbagetown: Experience the gritty, artistic vibe of this historic mill village. Once the home of factory workers, this neighborhood is now famous for its colorful "shotgun" houses and the Krog Street Tunnel—a living canvas of incredible street art and murals.
Oakland Cemetery: Explore one of Atlanta’s most beautiful green spaces. Far from spooky, this Victorian garden cemetery offers breathtaking views of the modern skyline. You will walk among the legends, including Gone with the Wind author Margaret Mitchell and golf great Bobby Jones.
The King Center: Walk in the footsteps of a legend. We visit the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park, where you can pay your respects at Dr. King's tomb and see the Ebenezer Baptist Church, the spiritual home of the Civil Rights movement.
Olympic Atlanta: Relive the glory of the Centennial Games. See how the 1996 Summer Olympics transformed downtown Atlanta into a global metropolis as we drive past Centennial Olympic Park and the iconic Olympic cauldron.
